Po konferencji, na podzamczu odbył się uroczysty chrzest róży księżnej Doroty. Rodzicami chrzestnymi byli burmistrzowie S. Kowal i S. Taubenek, ale faktycznie ciężki wazon z różami piastowała Agnieszka Kochańska, specjalistka z zakresu architektury krajobrazu, a także miejska ogrodniczka. - To są młode kwiaty, więc jeszcze niezbyt duże - tłumaczy A. Kochańska. - Krzewy będą miały ok. 80 cm wysokości.
Róża została wyhodowana w Niemczech, w okolicach Hamburga. "Urodziła się" w 2015 roku i do tej pory miała tylko numer hodowlany.
